We’re a versatile team with over half a century of experience between us in the creative, marketing, and technology sectors.  Our thrill is to assist, encourage, and inspire our clients to realize their dreams.

We have no desire to become another of the big companies from whom we’ve escaped at last!  Instead, we choose to stay local and work with small businesses whose people, products, and ideas we like.

Here, you’ll never be just another account, and you’re a whole lot more than just a name.  We solve problems together, develop ideas as partners, collaborate and communicate every step along the way.  We believe our greatest assets are our clients, your success drives our success, and that’s kinda important to us.

Who are these guys?

Casey is a tall, but nimble creative thinker with a strong background in Retail, Online and Specialty Brands. He’s led teams and managed creative at both a national and international level and has a passion for developing clean, well-thought-out design through technology.

Mark is also tall – he was even taller during the 13 years he lived and worked in Japan – or maybe it just felt that way!  He has a strong technical background and has always been interested in the practical applications of technology to human endeavor.

Brandon is a native Virginian who traded the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay for the slightly more vertical landscape of the Rockies in 2011. Prior to that he was a professional…wait for it…opera singer (tenor) in New York City who apparently practiced (and practiced and practiced) enough to sing in Rome, London, Japan and even at Carnegie Hall. his passion is driving engagement of users and brand advocates and turning audiences into fully immersive communities using all the social media tools at our disposal. The best stories aren’t something new, better and different; they’re stories already written by users, now we just have to tell them. And, Brandon is tall.

We founded Kinda Creative because after many years of corporate life we wanted to use all of the powers we developed for good rather than, uhhh, the alternative. We saw the potential to do more – more for businesses, more for brands, and more for people.

Both of us have the desire to develop long-term relationships with people who have great ideas or great products, and could use some help with marketing, business processes, and customer relationships. Across all of the job titles, projects, and roles we’ve held over the years, one thing we’ve both realized is that deep down inside what we really are is – Kinda Creative!

Whaddya mean, “Kinda” creative?

We don’t mean that we are “moderately” creative, or that sometimes we aren’t creative at all.  Instead, what we mean is that in addition to being creative, we are:

  • Analytical: Just because we are creative doesn’t mean that we aren’t taking a cold hard look at how our decisions are affecting “the numbers”.  We know you have to measure before you can assess the impact of change.
  • Experienced: We’ve had the chance to try lots of things, and see what worked and what didn’t.  And why.
  • Practical: sure, we like letting our imaginations run wild – that’s how disruptive change occurs.  But we avoid letting the idea get in the way of the implementation.
  • Businesslike: we’re not screwing around.  We might love fun, but we are dead serious about the success of our clients.  We look at everything we work on as the start of something that we can continue to develop with our clients.
